A MoU between the Access to Information (a2i) Programme of the Prime Minister’s Office, Bangladesh and Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC), Bhutan was signed on July 29, on the sidelines of a four-day summit themed “Civil Service In Development Innovation Summit 2016” that ended on July 30 in Dhaka. With the signing of the MoU, the two countries will establish a framework of cooperation on transforming service delivery to make the governments more citizen-centric through the use of ICTs. Lyonpo DN Dhungyel attended the summit as the chief guest on the invitation of the Bangladeshi government. Officials from the MoIC and the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Dhaka attended the seminar.
