- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the department of engineering services of the works and human settlement and central public works department (CPWD) from India on technical cooperation in the field of capacity building on December 23. The CPWD training institute in Ghaziabad will train Bhutanese engineers from the department in a foundation course for entry level engineering and architecture and short term trainings and deputation. The MoU will also help Bhutanese engineers develop benchmark documents like plinth areas rates, specifications schedule and analysis rates.
