A 35-year-old man died on impact when the Maruti Van he was driving veered 65 feet off road in Sergithang, Tsirang yesterday morning. While the driver died of a major head injury, a passenger, who suffered minor injuries was immediately brought to Damphu hospital.  The deceased and the passenger were on their way to Sergithang gewog center, three kilometers away, to attend a forestry awareness programme. According to Tsirang police report, careless driving caused the accident.
