A truck carrying 9,295kg of potatoes veered off road at Kakanye in Yangnyer, Trashigang on July 10. The incident occurred round 5:30pm when the truck was transporting the potatoes from Dargayling chiwog to Samdrupjongkhar. Due to continuous rainfall, the soil had become loose. No casualties were reported.
