The Lhabsang ceremony of the newly renovated Kidu Guest House was held yesterday coinciding with the auspicious occasion of the Royal Wedding Anniversary. The Kidu Guest House, located at the premises of the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital Complex, was originally built in the 1970s to provide accommodation for those people who are referred to the hospital from various parts of the country, and have no place to stay in the capital. Although minor repair works had been carried out since then, the building had been in a state of disrepair.

The guesthouse can house 35 patients.
