Team Gomdar defeated team Martshala and Samdrupjongkhar (9-7-0) at the open khuru tournament final in Samdrupjongkhar on October 22. The winning team took home a refrigerator each while the first runners up bagged a washing machine each. The 2nd runners up won a LCD TV each. The tournament was organised by the Samdrupjongkhar thromde sports association. The tournament saw 51 teams from Samdrupjongkhar, Pemagatshel, Phuentsholing, Samtse and Trashigang.
