The Bank of Bhutan (BoB) opened its 49th branch at Pasakha industrial estate on June 15. The branch would cater to the banking needs of the workers, residents, and non-Bhutanese with work permits can remit funds to their families in India and abroad. On June 16, as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the BoB constructed a butter lamp house at the Dorji Draktsen Neykhang behind Tashichhodzong, Thimphu and donated 1,000 butter lamps to the lhakhang.
