For supporting youth and active lifestyle through football, the Bhutan Football Federation on November 4 awarded a Champion of Football award to Bank of Bhutan’s Chief Executive Officer, Pema Nadik.

The annual football championship, BoB national League sees six clubs participating every year with each club consisting of 30 young footballers who are paid by the clubs The prize money of Nu 1M to winners, Nu 500,000 to the runners up and Nu 200,000 to the team that finishes third helps sustain the clubs and its players.
