Two years after the World Health Organisation declared Bhutan and the Maldives as the first two countries to eliminate measles in the South-East Asia Region (SEAR) before the regional target of 2020, WHO SEA’s regional director, Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh yesterday awarded a plaque to Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering at the opening of the 14th round table meeting.
