A fire razed a unit of a 48-bedded girls’ hostel in Mongar high school yesterday. The incident occurred at around 6.25am engulfing almost all belongings including books and bedding. The affected students received school uniform and other clothing items as semso soelrey from His Majesty The King. Police, desuup, and volunteers salvaged belongings from the other three units of the hostel. All 198 girls staying in four units of the hostel were relocated to the multipurpose hall and dining hall.
