The International Judo Federation on June 24 offered a wild card entry to Judoka Ngawang Namgyel, 23, to represent Bhutan in the under-60kg category at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in Japan. He is the first judoka from Bhutan Judo Association to participate in the Olympics after 10 years of its inception. Ngawang Namgyel, who is one of the medalists at the South Asian Games 2019, is from Drakteng, Trongsa.
