Since it was installed in March this year, the ultrasound service in Samdrupcholing drungkhag hospital benefited more than 633 patients to date. Earlier, they had to travel 49km to Dewathang or 67km to Samdrupjongkhar to avail themselves of the service. The hospital is also going to instal x-ray equipment when materials arrive from Phuentsholing.
