The Samdrupjongkhar thromde administration officially took over the road-zero kilometre (km) to four kilometres until Pinchina from the Project Dantak yesterday. 

The thromde took over the road as the Road Act of Bhutan states that the roads that fall under the thromde would be administered by the thromde administration. The thromde would take over the road from 10.5km until 17.5km and requested the Project Dantak to speed up the ongoing works.

The Project Dantak administered the road for about five decades.
