Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton are expected to visit Bhutan sometime in April.

According to a report by the BBC, Kensington Palace in the United Kingdom announced the visit yesterday via social media.

In their first visit to Bhutan, the royal couple is expected to meet His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen. The trip coincides with their previously announced official tour to India in April, the BBC reported.

The announcement made via twitter by Kensington Palace read, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will make an official visit to Bhutan this spring”, reported the British national daily tabloid, the Mirror.

“Bhutan has previously been visited by The Prince of Wales in 1998 and The Duke of York in 2010”, it added.
