Punakha-Gasa highway to be cleared

Block: Continuous rain has left the Punakha-Gasa highway blocked on several points. Boulders continued to fall, threatening the lives of the people trying to cross the blocks.

Officiating Dzongdag Rinchen Dorji said that the blocks near Damji and Tashithang will be cleared today.

“Road officials have been briefed to keep the road open so that voters can ply unhindered,” said Rinchen Dorji.
