RCSC: The Royal Civil Service Commission decided yesterday to transfer nine civil servants at the executive level.

National Council secretary Tshewang Norbu as the Secretary of Dzongkha Development Commission, Cabinet director (Dr) Phuntsho Namgyel is the new  Director of National Council secretariat.

Economic affairs’s joint secretary Sonam Phuntsho Wangdi will assume the post of Director General in the ministry’s Department of Hydro Power and Power System, and Executive Director of Consumer Protection office Sonam Tenzin is the new trade director.

Tenzin Dorji and Nima Wangdi,who were on interim transfer with RCSC will become the new Secretary of Examination for Bhutan Council for School Examination and Assessment and the Director General for Department of National Properties.

Sonam Wangdi, who was on Interim transfer with RCSC is transferred as the Director for Department of Labour, Ministry of Labour and Human Resources.

Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital Director Dr Sonam Phuntsho  is transferred as the director of Bhutan Health Trust Fund.

Jigme Thinlye Namgyal,  Department of Labour director is transferred to information and communication ministry’s Department of Information Technology and Telecom as its new director.

The transfers will take effect from tomorrow.
