The President and founder of RENEW, Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck signed an MoU with CEO of the Patrizia Children’s Foundation, Wolfgang Eggar, to fund the construction of the children’s facility at the Regional Central Gawailing in Bumthang.

A press release from RENEW states that Her Majesty is in Frankfurt, Germany to grace the “First Foundation Talk on the work of Foundations in an international context” organised by the Patrizia Children Foundation.

Her Majesty delivered the keynote address on September 12 and underlined the shared vision of building a brighter future for children worldwide so that they can grow up in a safe and secure environment.

This first foundation talk involves three foundations from the three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa. The Patrizia Children Foundation was established in 1999 to create living spaces for needy children and youth all over the world by building houses and homes. The foundation has supported 16 projects worldwide.
