RoundGlass Punjab FC and Sudeva Delhi FC will face each other at ongoing Hero- I League at Kolkata, India, today.

The two teams have become favourite for Bhutanese fans. Striker Chencho Gyeltshen (CG7) plays for the RoundGlass and Bhutanese international coach Chencho Dorji represent Sudeva as the head coach.

Chencho Dorji said the RoundGlass Punjab FC was one of the top teams and title contender in the league. “They have experienced local and foreign players, but they too are struggling like us to lead the table.”

Of the 11 participating teams, RoundGlass stands at sixth and Sudeva at ninth place with four points each as of yesterday. Both the teams have played four games.

“Today’s match will be a proud moment for all the Bhutanese fans as they can see Bhutanese representing in another country. Anything can happen in the game, and it is difficult to predict who will win, but Sudeva will work hard to get the three points,” Chencho Dorji said.

The match will be live-streamed on 1Sports Facebook page.

“Sudeva is a good team. However, Churchill Brothers FC has performed well in the last few weeks,” said Chencho Dorji.

So far, Goa-based Churchill Brothers FC is leading the point table with 10 points. Of the four matches played, the team won three and drew one. TRAU FC, Mohammedan FC and Gokulam Kerala FC acquired six points each.
