SAARC: SAARC Development Fund (SDF) and SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), have jointly announced to work together for regional integration and economic cooperation through collaboration and co-financing of the projects under the three windows of SDF.

The co-funding is expected to promote regional connectivity across the region by collaborating in the areas of transportation, infrastructure development and investment and trade.

This was decided during the conference “South Asia: Shaping the New Paradigm or Growth” organised by SCCI at Kaluatra, Sri Lanka.

The chief executive officer of SDF, (Dr) Sunil Motiwal was invited as a speaker during the event.
