Singye’s captain Ranjung Mikyo Dorji said, “The final match was good. Both teams were equally competent. But our batters did a great job by putting up a good target.”

“It is good to have such a big tournament in the country. The best part was there were lots of young talents whom the national head coach could select,” he said.

According to him, the standard of cricket in Bhutan would improve gradually if such professional tournaments continued.

Tshering Penjor of Chung was the most valuable player of the tournament. He got an overall rating of 39.28 points from four games.
