Update: Thimphu police arrested six students last week for being involved in the stabbing of a 19-year-old youth below Druk school in Thimphu on June 30. The victim survived the injuries.

Of the six aged between 15 and 20, four have been released on bail.

According to the suspects’ statements to police, some of the suspects had a grudge with the victim’s friend who was with the victim when the incident occurred.

Police are yet to recover the dagger. “The suspects told us that they threw the dagger into the Thimchhu,” a police official said.
