It is early afternoon and the traffic is light along the Babesa-Thimphu expressway. A taxi slows down at the zebra crossing. The right of way is not for pedestrians. It is a cow. 

Near a construction site by the road, few cows are ruminating in the sun while others are chomping on the plastic waste by a dumpsite.
