Sustainable land management programme helps farmers in Thangrong
More than 50 percent farmers of Thangrong village in Mongar grew rows of Napier hedges.
The grasses were planted in the fields as a barrier to slow and trap soil and water from moving down the slopes. Gravels can also be seen in most farms.
