Bhutan records 30 percent of violence against women annually, according to National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC). 

READ Bhutan’s involvement with women in rural communities found that women spend 71 percent of their time on unpaid care works and 95 percent on household management and maintenance works, said programme manager, Kezang Choden.
