The first meeting of the third tourism council directed the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) Secretariat to come up with a final proposal to delink Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality (RITH) from TCB.

Director general Dorji Dhradhul, said the secretariat was working on forming a multi-sectoral task force including members from the Gross National Happiness Commission to come up with the final proposal. The staff of RITH and other relevant agencies would also be consulted, he said.
