BoB League: Thimphu City FC humbled Ugyen Academy FC 4-0 in the ongoing Bank of Bhutan National League at the UA ground yesterday.

Defender Ugyen Tsheten of City scored 10 minutes into the game. Dawa Gyeltshen, City’s other defender doubled the lead in the 24th minute.

Midfielder Passang Tshering and Tshering Dorji scored one goal each in the second half of the game to confirm the three points for City.

City now jumps to the top of the table with 10 points.


Thimphu FC is in the second position with nine points, followed by FC Terton with five points and Ugyen Academy FC and Bhutan Clearing FC of Phuentsholing at fourth and fifth respectively.

Paro United FC is in the bottom of the table without any win so far.

On Saturday, Bhutan Clearing FC registered their first win of the tournament against the debutant Paro United FC in their home ground.

Paro United FC will paly the winners of the A-division league, FC Terton on Wednesday at the PCE ground in Paro.
