With Leki Lhadon awarded the right medal, gold, and Chencho Dorji winning silver yesterday, Bhutan’s record at the on-going Special Olympic World Games in Abu Dhabi is impressive.

Bhutan is represented at the Olympics by four athletes, two men and two women. Yesterday, athlete Chenco Dorji bagged the silver medal in the long jump event. It was his first medal at an Olympics. Chencho Dorji, 20, jumped 5.26 metres.
