Dorji Wangchuk runs a restaurant in the heart of town. “The number of customers has markedly increased.” He makes more than Nu 5,000 per day.

The proprietor of Dejung Wholesale, Wangchuk Tenzin said, the town was slowly becoming lively. “Now, more than 100 customers are visiting my shop in a day.”

He makes sure that people who come to his shop maintain distance and follow preventive measures. “I have installed a water station for hand washing and QR code to scan for the safety of all.”

Police and desuups are monitoring and regulating the practice of preventive measures in the town. Shopkeepers are also asked to monitor and follow the rules strictly.

“The number of people in the town has grown. We remind people about the importance of physical distancing,” said an official.
