A truck bearing Indian registration number caught fire on the Phuentsholing-Kharbandi road at 6:49pm yesterday. The incident occured near Rinchending goenpa.

Police managed to contain the fire at 7:35pm. The engine of the truck was completely burnt.

Police said it is not certain  yet how the fire started.

There was no casualty, as there was no one in the truck when the incident occured.

The truck was bound to Pasakha industrial estate.

The vehicle was handed over to Saint Gobain.
