The open crematorium at Chanchey, Tsirang would be relocated as it falls nearby the premises of the mini-industrial estate according to dzongkhag officials.

Located about 11kms from Damphu, the crematorium is beside the gewog centre road. The proposed crematorium is about three kms away from the existing site.
