Thimphu police arrested a 32-year-old man and his 24-year-old accomplice for stealing USD 20,000 from a house in Changangkha, Thimphu on April 27.

The house owner reported the case to police the same day.

Although the due, both unemployed, confessed to the crime, they are not sure of the total amount they stole. Police did not recover any cash from the men.

According to police, the crime was committed over a period of time. The 32 –year-old suspect is known to the family.
