Accident: A 23-year-old man died on spot after the vehicle he was driving veered off the road in Udari in Mongar on November 9. A passenger in the vehicle was admitted in Gyalpoizhing hospital.

The two men, working for a construction company involved in blacktopping the Khengkhar gewog centre road, were returning to their camp from the work site when the incident occurred.

According to sources, the deceased was driving the newly bought truck. The vehicle was the last one to ply in a convoy of four vehicles.

Gyalpoizhing police said they are investigating the case.
