A woman who underwent another test after completing 21-day of quarantine in Paro retested negative for Covid-19.
The 28-year-old had reached Bumthang after completing her quarantine period when she reported to the health ministry’s surveillance team of having bad cough and sore throat on April 18.
People who complete the 21-day quarantine are asked to report if they show any symptom.
According to the officials of Wangdicholing hospital, she was kept at a quarantine facility and her sample was immediately sent to Royal Centre for Disease Control in Thimphu for a retest.
She was sent home after she tested negative for Covid-19. She has been asked to stay home until the cough subsidies and refrain from travelling.
