His Majesty the King yesterday granted dhar to appoint the Cabinet Secretary and the Trongsa and Gasa dzongdags.

Government secretaries and dzongdags are appointed by His Majesty upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, who receives nominations from the Royal Civil Service Commission.

Cabinet Secretary Kinzang Wangdi was the General Secretary of the National Assembly. Trongsa dzongdag Sonam Rinchen was the Director of the Department of Occupational Standards. Gasa dzongdag Dorji Dhradhul was the Director of the Department of Agriculture Marketing and Cooperatives.

His Majesty the King also appointed Zimpon Wogmas, who were granted kabney and patang.

Zimpon Wogma Kinzang Dorji served as a civil servant for 18 years and resigned as the Head of the Department of Disaster Management.

Zimpon Wogma Chewang Rinzin joined the civil service in 2002 and was appointed the Project Coordinator for the Royal Institute of Governance and Strategic Studies in 2012.
