Two men died on impact when the truck they were travelling in fell about 160 metres off the Lemi farm road in Khaling, Trashigang, on November 3.
The deceased, a 53-year-old and a 66-year-old, along with the driver and two more passengers were travelling towards Khaling from Lemi village. They had gone to ferry potatoes from the village.
The incident occurred around 2:40pm.
The driver and the two passengers were rushed to Khaling BHU. One of the passengers who had suffered major injuries was referred to Trashigang hospital the same day.
According to the BHU staff, the driver suffered minor injuries on his head and left leg. The driver and one of the passengers were discharged after keeping them under observation for 24 hours.
One of the BHU staff said that the passenger who was referred to Trashigang hospital had fractured his wrist and also suffered some head injuries. He is under observation at the hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
