Dechenpelri villagers rebuild their lives, brick by brick
For the past few years, Tashi Rabten and family has been living in a makeshift hut in Dechenpelri village in the outskirts of Gelephu town, earning their livelihood through petty contract works.
With no stable source of income, the 35-year-old, his wife and two children continued living at the makeshift shed until his dream to have a stable concrete house came true a few months ago.
