Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa (DNT) declared Sonam Jamtsho as its candidate from the Chumey-Ura constituency in Bumthang to contest in the upcoming fourth National Assembly elections.

The 43-year-old holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Oxford College of Business Management in India.

Before joining the party, he served as a contract teacher in primary school and as a project manager in construction.

With this, the party has declared 15 candidates so far and the party claimed it has confirmed 46 candidates.
