Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) declared Bharat Bdr Pradhan as its candidate for the Ugyentse-Yoeseltse Constituency in Samtse for the fourth National Assembly elections.

The 37-year-old has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Padur Kelambakkam, Chennai, India.

He served as a Liaison Officer for Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project Authority (MHPA) for two years and as a labour officer for more than five years.

He is from Tashiding village under Ugyentse gewog.

Earlier, the party announced Jagnat Bdr Ghalley as its candidate from Ugyentse-Yoeseltse constituency. The party said that the candidate withdrew and had to be replaced.
