Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa (DTT) declared the party’s candidate for Kilkhorthang-Mendrelgang constituency from Tsirang yesterday.

Dhan Bahadur Chhetri, 50, graduated this year with a bachelor of science in forestry from the College of Natural Resources in Lobesa, Punakha.

He resigned from the civil service in 2018, 21 years after serving as a forest ranger, 11 years each in Dagana and Tsirang dzongkhags.

He is also the party’s vice president for campaign management and strategy.

Dhan Bahadur Chhetri is from Dzamlingzor, Mendrelgang Gewog.
