Slow but steady, reliable and trustworthy, this is what I am as well.

Do we need power to serve the country and people?

Not necessarily power but need authority to serve the country and people better.

Is democracy the best form of government for Bhutan?

Ideally yes but looking at the level of corruption during the election process, I am quite skeptical.

What makes you confident that the voters would vote for you with the same support as in the primary round?

My connection with people of all walks of life, my experiences and genuineness to serve them. In fact, their support would be three-folds now.

Samtse is already developing at a rapid stage with the Gyalsung programme and industrial estate prioritized here. Your priority for your constituency if elected.

A steady household income and a decent employment for all youths.

Easy flow of drugs through the porous borders is one of the main issues facing our youth as much as unemployment is. What solutions have you thought of?

Advocacy in schools and surveillance with use of ICT facilities at the borders.

What do you say about your opponent? Which area do you think he requires improvement?

A seasoned politician and a gentleman.

Your party symbol is horse, how well does your personality match with the horse? 

Horse symbolizes purity and strength and a very hard working animal, so am I.

Do we need power to serve the country and people? 

Certainly not. You can serve the country with humility by being a true son of the soil.

Is democracy the best form of government for Bhutan? 

Yes it is indeed.

What makes you confident that the voters would vote for you with the same support as in the primary round? 

I haven’t changed my attitude and approach to life till date, I am what I am, I was DN Dhungyel, I am DN Dhungyel and I will continue to be DN Dhungyel. I am confident that the people of my constituency would support me.

I have my deep gratitude for HM the King for the Gyalsung Project at Samtse Dzongkhag and I will work on improving and providing required support for the people of Bhutan and especially of my constituency focusing on  entrepreneurs and  the youths.

I will prioritize developing the entrepreneurial skills for the youths and ensure adequate support to them. This would certainly engage them meaningfully thereby reducing their unhealthy habits or  practices.
