Paro Women’s FC were crowned champions of Kelme Women’s National League 2022 at Woochu Sports Arena in  Paro on January 14. Bhutan Football Federation awarded the team with Nu 1 million and a trophy. The runners-up Ugyen Academy Women’s FC were given Nu 0.5 million. 

Sonam Lhamo of Paro Women’s FC was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and received Nu 50,000.  

Ugyen Lhamo of BFF Academy Girls was declared the best young emerging player and Tshering Yangden of Ugyen Academy Women’s FC was the highest goal scorer. Tshering Yangden scored 67 goals. Both of them received Nu 30,000 each. 

Nine top teams from across the country competed in the tournament which began on August 13, last year.
