Three forest fires occurred in Thimphu yesterday. Hundreds of armed force personnel, de-suups and volunteers contained the fires above Lungtenphu and near Motithang by afternoon. The fire opposite Khasadrapchu town started at around 1.30pm and could not contained mainly due to strong winds.
