Gearing up to the 116th National Day celebration in Gelephu, residents in Sarpang are hosting colourful prayer flags along the national highway from the Gakiling police checkpost to Gyalsung Academy in Tareythang gewog. The flags are also being hoisted along the gewog centre and farm roads using bamboo poles. Local leaders say that residents and de-suups volunteered to hoist the flags mostly donated by residents of Sarpang.
