To celebrate the birth of Her Royal Highness the Gyalsem, His Holiness the Je Khenpo along with more than a hundred monks presided over the Goenpo Tsepadmey Sungchoe and Marmey Tongchoe at the Thimphu Tashichoedzong on September 9. Prime Minister, Cabinet ministers, dignitaries, senior civil servants, and members from various sectors attended the program.

Rituals dedicated to the good health and safety of the Royal child are also being performed in all monasteries for three days.
