Hundreds of people from Pemagatshel and neighbouring dzongkhags gathered to witness the consecration ceremony of Druk Migjur Dechen Dzong, the new dzong of Pemagatshel, presided over by the Tsugla Lopon of the Zhung Dratshang yesterday. His Royal Highness the Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering, and other dignitaries attended the ceremony. The dzong will serve as the administrative and religious centre for the dzongkhag.
