Zhung Dratshang’s Tshogki Lopon Sangay Khandu and a group of senior monks are currently in India on a tour of New Delhi and Ladakh.  Bhutan shares cultural and religious similarities with Ladakh.  The Drukpa Kagyu  sect of Buddhism is  dominant in both societies and the visit of Tshogki Lopon and his team to Ladakh is expected to  provide  fresh impetus to the traditional linkages  through meetings and  discussions  with spiritual masters, Ladakh Buddhist Association, and other important bodies.
