Trashigang dzongdag, Ugyen Dorji, inaugurated a 24-metre Class 70 reinforced concrete bridge in Khaling Gewog yesterday.

The bridge is at a higher level than the existing girder bridge which is of lower capacity and capable of limited traffic.

The dzongdag highlighted the remarkable achievement and commitment of Project Dantak in providing the infrastructure.

The inauguration was attended by government officials, dignitaries, and local residents who expressed their gratitude for safer and more convenient travel along the road. The construction of the bridge was funded by government of India.
