Gelephu Academy Girls dominated Thimphu Women’s FC, securing an 8-0 victory in the ongoing Women’s National League in Gelephu.  Following this triumph, Gelephu Academy Girls claim the top spot in the league with 17 points from eight games as of yesterday. RTC FC, maintaining an unbeaten streak in seven matches, secures the second position with 16 points. In the six-team tournament, Transport United Ladies currently have 12 points, followed by Ugyen Academy Women’s FC and Thimphu Women’s FC with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Samtse Women’s FC is in the relegation zone with a single point. Ugyen Academy Women’s FC will face Samtse Women’s FC today in Punakha at 3pm.
