On the first parinirvana anniversary of Sumtrhang Choeje Wangdak Gyatsho, a long-awaited first edition of the works of rarely known Bhutanese non-sectarian figure Sumtrhang Choeje Paldhen Zangpo launched yesterday.

Paldhen Zangpo’s work on Vajra Kila was discovered in 2021 among the many other manuscript fragments of Sumtrhang, which was digitised. This particular work was transliterated and edited for this publication with funding support from Prince Claus Fund for Culture emergency and Whiting Foundation.
