Bhutan’s U-18 national team secured its first international win in the  U-18 SAFF championship after defeating the Maldives (1-0) in the first match of the tournament at the Changlimithang stadium in Thimphu yesterday. Bhutan will play its second match against Nepal at 4PM tomorrow.

In the opening match, Bangladesh achieved a historic comeback against India after defeating India (4-3). Bangladesh was three down in the first half but stunned India by scoring four goals in the second half. Bangladesh will play the Maldives at 7PM tomorrow.
